 RJ-45 Ethernet cable connector

To install these devices, connect the corresponding cable connector from the actual

device to the corresponding NOVA-PV-D5251/D4251 external peripheral interface

connector making sure the pins are properly aligned.

4.8.1 LAN Connection

There are four external RJ-45 LAN connectors. The RJ-45 connector enables connection

to an external network. To connect a LAN cable with an RJ-45 connector, please follow

the instructions below.

Step 1: Locate the RJ-45 connectors. The location of the LAN connector is shown in

Chapter 3.

Step 2: Align the connectors. Align the RJ-45 connector on the LAN cable with one of

the RJ-45 connectors on the NOVA-PV-D5251/D4251. See

Figure 4-21.

Step 3: Insert the LAN cable RJ-45 connector. Once aligned, gently insert the LAN

cable RJ-45 connector into the on-board RJ-45 connector. Step 0:
